The Amer Fort

The Amer Fort has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2013.

Amer was once known as Dhundar, ruled by the Kachhwahas from the 11th to the 16th century. The fort is famous for its artistic style that is a mixture of both Hindu and Mughal design elements. Amer fort dates back to the 15th century and has been home to 28 kings of the Kachwaha dynasty in the past.
