The final Geneva International Motor Show (Genève Auto Salon) was held in 2024. Due to a lack of interest by large carmakers, the 2025 show has been canceled and there are no plans or expectations that the Swiss show will be revived in the future.

The 2024 show was only a fraction of the size of the previous mega halls.

After being canceled for three years, and using the name for a show in Qatar, the Geneva Motor Show returned to Genève in 2024 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of arguably the most prestigious major motor show event in the world.

Although the show attracted only 168,000 visitors, and many manufacturers including all German carmakers and the extensive Stellantis group failed to attend, a show is currently scheduled for 2025.

In 2025, the Geneva Auto Show is planned for 17 to 23 February 2025.
