Rigby finally has enough of losing to Mordecai in both the video game and "death punchies", so he decides to train and challenge him.

Tropes of death used in this episode of death:

• Adrenaline Makeover: By both Mordecai and Rigby to use Death-Kwon-Do.
• All for Nothing: Rigby wanted to be Player 1 rather than Player 2, due to the former having a shovel and the latter having a pick-ax.

  After the entire ordeal is over, Rigby finally gets to be Player 1 and (as Mordecai predicted) dies immediately to the first enemy on screen.

• Ambulance Cut: Happens when Rigby tries to play punchies with Skips.
• Artistic License – Geology: Even a kid would know that magma isn't in the Earth's crust.
• Bad "Bad Acting": When letting Rigby win, Mordecai slowly drops to the ground and dramatically announces he can't take it anymore.
• Big "NO!": Death Kwon Do Sensei gets three.
