    Talent Show Guidelines 1) 2) Pick a talent that you have practiced and/or performed before (example: singing, dancing, juggling, magic tricks, jokes, comedy, basketball rhythm dances, jump roping, cup stacking, etc.).

    A variety of acts are encouraged All performances should be age-appropriate and approved by the talent show coordinators. A “clean” version of a song with explicit lyrics is not acceptable. 3) Performances should last for at least 1 minute and no longer than 2 minutes.

    4) Performers’ costumes should be school and age-appropriate, and should fit the talent being performed. 5) Foul language or rude body movements is not acceptable. 6) All performers should practice their talent before the auditions (words memorized, choreography completed, etc).

    If an act is not prepared for the audition, students will be given advice and coached as to how to proceed.
